Here's my picture story of the big Ice Storm in Duluth, the night before December 30th, 2004...

We just got home last night, and heard there was supposed to be a storm...

The night didn't seem too rough but for once in the morning, when we could hear some kind of freezing rain
hitting our bedroom window. But when we woke up, hark! There was ice covering every single thing in the
city of Duluth. This was more impressive than it sounds. Imagine how much equipment it would take to
do this kind of work by hand! As I walked out of the house, our steps and railing were completely covered in ice!
"Be Careful," said Breezy...

After the dangerous journey down the ice-covered staircase, there was the mailbox at the bottom.
Take a look, it's covered with ice!!

Just around the corner of the garage (which was entirely encased in a thin layer of ice)
there was our garbage can. Sheesh, it's covered in ice!

As I walked along, I saw this bush...

Man, it's COVERED in ice!!

Anyway, a little beyond the bush down the alley... there were some berries
(which I pointed out in the first picture above) .

Look at them, they are covered in ICE!!

As you can see behind the berries, there is a fence, which happens to be COMPLETELY covered in something... let's take a closer look...

It is covered in ICE!
Weird!!!

Making my way back to the house, I noticed a couple things I hadn't seen before...
Here's what the grass looks like - covered in ICE!

And, even the wreath which Amber and Erich hung out for Christmas...

is covered in ice!

Let's take a closer look at those needles...

And Finally, as I was about to retur home, Breezy peeked her head out the door, and
pointed out the car...

It may be a little hard to tell, but it was COVERED IN ICE!

Then I went inside with my drenched jacket and wet paper-towel-camera-protector.

The End.
